Classroom Pictures! Neon and Awesome 80s
Welcome to my classroom! I had fun doing a neon & 80s theme this year! I love how bright & colorful it turned out.
When I first came into this room is was very sterile. Lots of GRAY! Here are some before pictures.
BEFORE:
A plus to this room is that the gray boards (not white boards) are magnetic. |
This is Bessie, the air conditioner. |
Plus: Lots of cabinets! Minus: They're GRAY! |
Here are some pictures of how I spruced up this room!
I used different colored borders around my back boards to make it more colorful. Above each board are headers for the subjects. Below them is my picture book library.
Some of my organizational tubs from Really Good Stuff. Made some quick labels for them and glued them on.
I bought the fans at Party City for $1.99 each and then hot glued my team signs to the middle of each fan.

New Awesome 80s Classroom Theme Products! Team signs, Alphabet, Word Wall Cards, and Student Numbers!
First up are my classroom team signs! I just love these colorful cheetah prints! Reminds me of all those old Lisa Frank binders I used to have in the late 80s & early 90s. The plan for my room is to use the circles with these fun hanging fans from Party City.
The rectangles will be perfect for my team tubs and the squares I'm going to put on some cubbies. :)
I have also been working on a fun 80s theme alphabet.
This alphabet is one of my favorites! They're full sized 8.5 x 11 posters and come in print as well as cursive.
I've also put together these cute student numbers that go from 1-100.
Word Wall Cards! Aren't these cute with the little yellow Chucks??? This file also comes with programmable cards for a cohesive look.
Hope you like them!

New Products posted!
I've been adding some new products to my Dr. Seuss Collection - Check them out!
You can purchase the badges and lanyard at Staples, Office Max, or if you're like me... ask your principal to order you some from the district warehouse! Shh...
I am IN LOVE with this birthday kit! It comes with all the months printed on large cupcakes, bookmarks, birthday card & a certificate for the kids, and decorations for you to make a sweet display.
In the kit are balloon toppers that are editable and you can put your student's names on them and attack them to a silly straw or something similar. The birthday certificate is also editable so you can type in your student's information.
Dollar Deal! My Dr. S labels are so versatile! You can use them for your book bins, as nametags, supply labels, you name it! Included are the three labels and they come four to a page in PowerPoint format so that you can add your text. I've also included the labels in PNG format so you can resize them as needed. :)
Next up is my theme for next year! I really wanted to do this for the current school year, but I honestly just ran out of time. :( So now I'm slowly getting everything made so that I'll be ready for next year! I want neons and animal prints and old 80's movie posters! LOL!
First up, a FREEBIE! Neon & Black Whole Brain Teaching Rules & Bonus Poster!
Arent these cute!?!? I think after I print I will post them on some bright purple paper with a checkered or zebra border... Zebra seems to be everywhere now!

First up is my Colors of Dr. S Hall Pass Station. These passes were sized to fit in lanyard pockets so your students can be handsfree with their passes.
Below you'll see my suggestion for how to set up that station. I also included a larger, more traditional style pass.
