You can purchase the badges and lanyard at Staples, Office Max, or if you're like me... ask your principal to order you some from the district warehouse!  Shh...

 I am IN LOVE with this birthday kit!  It comes with all the months printed on large cupcakes, bookmarks, birthday card & a certificate for the kids, and decorations for you to make a sweet display.

In the kit are balloon toppers that are editable and you can put your student's names on them and attack them to a silly straw or something similar.  The birthday certificate is also editable so you can type in your student's information.


Dollar Deal!  My Dr. S labels are so versatile!  You can use them for your book bins, as nametags, supply labels, you name it!  Included are the three labels and they come four to a page in PowerPoint format so that you can add your text.  I've also included the labels in PNG format so you can resize them as needed.  :)



Next up is my theme for next year!  I really wanted to do this for the current school year, but I honestly just ran out of time.  :(  So now I'm slowly getting everything made so that I'll be ready for next year!  I want neons and animal prints and old 80's movie posters!  LOL!

Arent these cute!?!?  I think after I print I will post them on some bright purple paper with a checkered or zebra border...  Zebra seems to be everywhere now!

 These are so adorable, it makes me wish I taught primary, lol.  My husband actually suggested that we print these our two year old and decorate his room.  Hmmm, a Dr. Seuss bedroom?  I could do that....

Whew!  My class has finally finished our geometry unit!  We had so much fun doing hands on activities, playing games, and of course...learning!  :)

I have spent hours checking and double checking everything for this unit.  However, I might have missed something.  I'm instituting a new policy in my shop that starts today:  Find a Flub and I'll give you Five Dollars!  That's right!  If you purchase one of my products and you find a mistake on it, I will give you $5 to spend in my shop!

We are having so much fun in math this week!  One of my favorite topics to teach is GEOMETRY!  We're working on the basics first - lines, rays, and angles.  Next we'll be moving into triangles and quadrilaterals.  Below are some pics of what we're doing!


I introduce the topic of points and lines with a science connection to stars and constellations, a 4th grade science topic here in Florida.  Next, we read one of the myths of Orion and wrote about it.  My students had to write from the point of view of Orion's father.

 Next we went over some basic vocabulary with a PowerPoint and notebook page.  BTW - isn't this the neatest handwriting from a boy ever???

Afterwards, we did some practicing, centers, and took our quiz.  You can get all the resources from our day one lesson for FREE here.  :)



The next day we looked at specific kinds of lines.
